Charles Clark
I’m Charles Clark, and in 2022, Journey Speakers Bureau was born out of a pressing need I saw during the COVID pandemic. With my growing personal brand, I began receiving hundreds of speaking inquiries—more than I could possibly fulfill on my own. Around the same time, I started interviewing other speakers in the industry, feeling isolated in my own career. I quickly realized that many of them, like me, wanted to make a difference by sharing their stories and impacting lives.
That’s when the idea for the Bureau came together: connecting speakers with opportunities to grow their businesses while also providing event planners with the right speaker for their audience. The Bureau is more than just about bookings—it’s about bridging the gap between world-class speakers who are committed to delivering powerful, tailored experiences and the time they need to create that impact.
But it goes beyond speakers.
I’ve learned through working on my personal brand just how much event planners juggle to make an event successful. They’re often overwhelmed, carrying the weight of organizing everything from small 30-person gatherings to massive 5,000-plus events. That’s why our Bureau exists to not only get the right speaker booked but also to take the stress off their shoulders. We care deeply about showing them they’re not alone on this journey. Together, we can create impactful events that have the power to change the world.
And why the word journey? It was intentional. We chose journey because we recognize that everyone is on their own journey—whether you’re a speaker, an event planner, or an attendee. But to us, the journey is more than just a booked event. It’s about all the people we come in contact with: the speakers, the event planners, the AV teams, the attendees, and even the attendees’ families. Everyone is part of this journey. And it’s not just about going from one place to another—it’s about reaching a desired destination. When we work together, we get there faster and create lasting change and impact.
