The Future of Work and Mindful Leadership

The Great Resignation and the rise in mental health struggles are demanding a transformation in workplace culture. To attract, engage and retain top talent, leaders need to create a more human and employee-centered workplace. It is absolutely crucial for us to lead by example and create a workplace environment that not only encourages but also supports our mental, physical, and emotional well-being so we can perform at a high level while taking care of ourselves and our family.

This talk will address and provide practical takeaway for the following items:
  • How to develop positive social connections in a hybrid workplace
  • Creating a sense of belonging in the workplace
  • Research and tips for improving sleep and its benefits
  • The importance of appreciating our colleagues
  • Methods for communicating mindfully to maximize collaboration
  • Maintaining healthy eating habits

  • Practical mindfulness techniques

Mindfulness and Resilience: Tools to Thrive During Stressful Times

During our current time of change and uncertainty, our stress and anxiety levels can go through the roof. Navigating a hybrid work environment can create greater challenges to our work-life balance. It is absolutely crucial for us to be able to maintain our mental, physical, and emotional health so we can take care of ourselves, our family and remain productive in our professional life.

This talk will address the following items:
  • Importance of Positive Relationships
  • Healthy Eating
  • Unplugged Sleep
  • Regular Exercise
  • Maintaining a Personal Hobby

Participants will also learn the science behind mindfulness and will be virtually guided through a variety of mindfulness practices for reducing stress, improving productivity and emotional intelligence. Some of practices are as follows:
  • Breathing - for stress reduction
  • Focusing - for improving one's ability to concentrate and focus
  • Gratitude - to shift to a more positive mindset
  • Appreciation - develop appreciation for the contributions of our colleagues

Mindful Leadership: Walking the Talk

Leaders set the tone and mood for the rest of the organization. To fully inspire and bring out the best from the workforce, leadership has to lead by example and “walk the talk.” They can’t say one thing and do another. To attract, engage and retain top talent, leaders need to create more human and employee-centered workplace environments.

This talk will address the importance for leadership of all levels to not only set the right example, but also, on a regular basis, appreciate the contributions of their workforce, communicate mindfully to encourage and inspire, lead with humility and without ego and manage their emotions. The research on mindfulness and its application for the workplace will also be presented.

After this keynote, participants will be able to:
  1. Improve their level of self-awareness
  2. Communicate mindfully and with compassion
  3. Lead with confidence combined with humility
  4. Better manage their emotions to remain calm during challenging situations
  5. Implement mindfulness techniques to reduce stress and improve focus and productivity

- Ashlea Burke

I had the pleasure of attending Pandit's Keynote address at International Organizations CDR Creating a Positive and Resilient Workplace Culture. The quick mindfulness session was so useful, that I attended the extended session afterwards, Mindfulness and Resilience: Tools to Thrive During Stressful Times. The International Organizations that attend CDR include Devex (my organization), UN organizations, The World Bank, IMC, IMF, and the US State Department among others. Pandit's approach to mindfulness is both unique and impactful, employing compelling analogies that resonate deeply. His ability to connect with audiences is remarkable, making him an excellent choice for company events. In the often stressful world of work, the tools and insights he provides can significantly ease the burden. I strongly recommend experiencing his sessions or inviting him to your organization.

Pandit Dasa’s talk, 'Mindfulness and resilience in the workplace', at Intel Corporation was very enlightening and refreshing. The session was embedded into a 3-Day professional development conference organized by an employee resource group at the company called Intel India. Around 200 employees joined the call, and the audience was very well-engaged throughout the entirety of the session using the chat function though it was a virtual event.

inspiring

- Indeed

Pandit set exactly the right tone for a recent event my team and I created for leaders in the HR and talent attraction space. His keynote on mindful leadership was inspiring. Pandit emphasized, among other things, that 'self-care isn't selfish,' adding that it's important for leaders to 'lead by example, not just in how you perform in the office but also in your own self-care and wellbeing.' After his keynote, many of the attendees at this event told me how much they appreciated Pandit's keynote, quoting several things he said back to me. Pandit closed his keynote with a group meditation as well. Along with inspiring, Pandit is warm, accessible, and has a good sense of humor — all the qualities you might want from a keynote speaker!

immediately captured everyone's attention

- IBM

I had the privilege of working with Pandit as a guest speaker for my firm, Morgan Stanley. Pandit combines old age wisdom with modern corporate culture. Our topic was Fostering a Positive and Mindful Workplace. Pandit's message is a strong one and he delivers impactful information. He immediately captured everyone's attention by sharing how he lived as a monk for 15 years in New York and now post-monk life, he speaks to corporations on the science and practices of mindfulness. His talk was personable, humorous and research-based. His content on how mindfulness and meditation could lower stress and boost productivity was extremely relevant and practical for me and my colleagues who work on the trading floor. We loved his talk so much that we’ve had him back for an additional two sessions. During his most recent visit, Pandit's content was geared towards our leaders and Managing Directors. His messages on leading by example, appreciating your co-workers, managing emotions, communicating with compassion and leading with humility really resonated with our leadership. We have benefited tremendously by these presentations and look forward to an on-going partnership with Pandit.
