Her professional path began as a middle school mathematics teacher in St. Louis Public Schools, where she spent four years laying the groundwork for her future endeavors. Driven by her interest in combining creativity, science, and community impact, Crystal successfully transitioned into technology, starting as a Program Director for an organization helping women and non-binary individuals access coding education and high-paying tech jobs.

Now an accomplished software developer and international keynote speaker, Crystal champions diversity in technology and business. Her technical expertise, coupled with her educational background, allows her to bridge crucial gaps in the industry while advocating for more inclusive environments.
Crystal lives by the motto "People need People," recognizing that success is inherently collaborative. She believes in both supporting others and being willing to ask for help, emphasizing that shared victories are the most meaningful.
